Everything below is in the works and not yet available. It is the feature set we are building toward for launch.
A searchable photo directory
Find anyone by name, even when you spell it wrong. Filter by location and department, with a photo next to every name so you know who you are looking for.
Profiles that tell you how to reach someone
Each profile shows the person’s local time, tap-to-call and tap-to-email, and who they work with: their manager, direct reports and assistants.
An org chart you can browse
Move up the reporting line to a manager, or down to their direct reports, from any profile.
Employees keep their own profile current
People add their own photo and edit their phone number, pronouns and bio, so the directory doesn’t depend on one admin updating it.
Contractors marked clearly
Contractors appear with a badge, so nobody mistakes them for staff. If you’d rather not list them, an admin setting hides them.
Invite one person or the whole company
Invite people one at a time or all at once. Employees sign in by invite, and the directory works on phone, tablet and desktop.
Kept in sync with your identity provider
The employee list stays in sync with Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID. SCIM 2.0 provisioning is planned.
One employee list with InstaCheckin Visitor
The people in your directory are the same hosts InstaCheckin Visitor notifies when a guest arrives. One invite and one login cover both apps.

InstaCheckin started with visitor sign-in. InstaCheckin Visitor runs reception on an iPad: guests sign in, badges print, and the host gets an email and SMS when their visitor arrives. InstaCheckin People, coming soon, puts the same employee list to work as a company directory, so the host list and the directory are the same list.
